Hero Battle

Players choose 1 Non-Named, Non-Unique, Non-Mounted Hero model to be their Chosen Hero. This can be any model in the game or in legends.

A few rules will also attempt to make the battle slightly more fair.

  • No Hero may start off the board or leave the board other than by death
  • No Hero may Summon additional models
  • No Hero may heal more than 3 wounds per round
  • No Heroic Actions are allowed

Otherwise the battle will follow the same phases as a normal game of Age of Sigmar as follows:

Hero Phase: Cast Spells and use Command Abilities called for in this phase

Movement Phase: Move your Chosen Hero as per the normal Age of Sigmar Rules

Shooting Phase: Shoot with your Chosen Hero as per the normal Age of Sigmar Rules (Note: Any Heroes WITHOUT shooting get an automatic +1 to save against any shooting targeting them)

Charge Phase: Charge with your Hero as per the normal Age of Sigmar Rules (Note: Any heroes without a shooting profile get a +1 to their charge roll which does not stack with any other modifiers or re-rolls they get innately)

Fight Phase: Your Chosen Hero fights as per the normal Age of Sigmar rules.
(Note: This is the only phase in which All-Out Attack and All-Out Defense can be used but every hero can use both provided they have Command Points to do so.)

Battleshock Phase: No Hero is ever required to take a Battleshock Test for ANY reason.

POINTS

  • Every Melee Take-Down of an Enemy Hero awards 2 points.
  • Every Ranged Take-Down of an Enemy Hero awards 1 point. Yes, this means other heroes can swoop in and steal your glory!
  • Last Hero Standing: Depending on participation in the battle the Last Hero Standing gains an additional 0-5 points. This is determined by the Event Organizer or by table wide agreement.
  • Glory!: Any exceptionally awesome moment will be awarded extra points by the Event Organizer AND table wide agreement!

Monster Battle

Players choose 1 Non-Named, Non-Unique Monster model to be their Chosen Monster. This can be any model in the game or in legends.
